1. I support low density as established by the Yorba Linda General Plan. I will not accept contributions from City Contractors, out-of-town Special Interests, and especially Developers.

2. I pledge to reduce the increasing crime rate within our City.

3. I support completing our Town Center consistent with the recommendations of the Blue Ribbon Committee to save our City’s historical character. Our Town Center must benefit our residents and not developers.

4. I will work to reduce traffic congestion within our City and surrounding area.
|
|
5. I strongly oppose the City’s use of Eminent Domain to seize private property for economic gain. I support Measure BB which will prevent the use of Eminent Domain for profit anywhere in our City. I ask that you also vote “Yes” on this important November 4th ballot initiative.

6. As a strong fiscal conservative, I pledge to rein in our increasing Landscape and Lighting Assessment District costs. I will not vote for any future Assessment Fee increases.

7. I pledge to complete our City’s Master Plan for Parks and Youth Sports Fields as soon as fiscally possible.

8. I will work to establish a Cultural Arts Facility in our City. I will also work to establish a new Equestrian Facility through a government-private partnership

9. I support open government where the public may be heard without intimidation. I support a strong Ethics Policy for our City Council, Commissions and Staff.

10. I have co-authored and signed the Contract With Yorba Linda pledging my stand on key City issues. The Contract is available here on my website
